About ND: Visionary, Producer, and Architect of the StarBast Universe
ND is not just a producer or author; he is the individual who revived something that seemed lost — the legacy of the StarBast, a musical legend that left its mark on the underground rock scene of the 70s. Born in 1973 in Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg), ND grew up in a family where music and science blended into a remarkable symbiosis. His childhood was shaped by classical and rock music, and his talent and interest in the exact sciences allowed him to delve deeper into understanding and analyzing musical compositions.
Having graduated from music school and the Faculty of Mathematics at the Ural State University, ND traveled a long path — from the banking sector to creating one of the most ambitious cultural projects of our time. His professional career in banking showcased his managerial talents, but his creative calling always remained at the forefront. Even in the most challenging professional circumstances, ND found time to compose music, create arrangements, and write lyrics.
However, his true revelation came with the StarBast project — an extraordinary fusion of music, literature, and visual art that transcended traditional genre boundaries. This project became a bridge between generations, recreating the sound and spirit of the StarBast, but in a new format, accessible to modern audiences.
The StarBast Chronicles is not just a collection of musical albums. It is an epic, where each book is accompanied by music, every musical track has its literary equivalent, and each illustration amplifies the meaning of the events on the pages and in the music. Albums like The Eye of Bosch, Bastian's Wanderings, AUM, Maze D'Or, and Pourquoi 17 tell stories where music and text work in perfect harmony, enhancing philosophical ideas and images. ND collaborates with outstanding artists and musicians, and his attention to detail makes this project unique in the global cultural context.
ND is the creator of an entire world, where melodies, symbols, and texts coexist, inviting each viewer and listener into an interactive and profound immersion. His project resonates with a broad audience — not only among progressive rock fans but also among lovers of contemporary literature and art.
Collaborating with international musicians and artists, ND brings his ideas to life through inspiring collaborations, staying true to the principles of creative freedom and musical self-expression.
ND is married and has two sons, who often serve as his first listeners and critics, supporting his passion for music and art.
